All commodities need packaging. But problems arise in packaging. When consumers take products home, they throw away most boxes or plastic bags, which generates plenty of trash and waste. As an industrial designer and packaging design student, I am asked to work on a packaging design for bulbs. I naturally think of the integration of both areas so that all the materials will be used as part of the products and that waste will be eliminated.
Considering that the protective structure can be also used as an aesthetic and functional part of the lamp in addition to its role in packaging, I believe that this structure should be not only stable, but also artistic. After trying several potential structures, I choose the most effective one according to the property of material and operability.
